Candida Diet Eating Plan Dont Mix Eating the Carbs with Proteins

This Curing Candida Blog presents you with article Candida Diet Eating Plan Dont Mix Eating the Carbs with Proteins. Check the details below:

My friend doesnt understand when one day we discussed about candida diet eating plan and I mentioned to her not to mix proteins with carbs. Eating protein alone and eating carbs alone sounds weird and impossible to her. She doesnt just have yeast infection, but also a very poor digestion and insulin resistance. So, she has to eat protein with carb, or else the carb will affect her blood sugar detrimentally. She also can really only digest about three meals a day. If she has to separate protein and carbs, she wont get much to eat. She said that she and whoever has had a long standing digestive problem or yeast infection would have to consider whether their intestinal tract is damaged.

She thinks perhaps I have read sources of Candida information that she has not. She has been struggling with digestive problems, but not addressing yeast yet. She wants to know what books I have been reading. I think I should be reading them and trying to weigh what they are saying with what I already think.

Actually, what I meant by not mixing proteins with carbs is to try millet, squash, or some brown rice. But, I suppose these foods are bad for her. Millet and brown rice are grains, although they are lovely and nutritious foods. Someone who has had digestive disturbance, yeast infections for any length of time, has probably had some injury to the lining of the intestinal tract. Especially, the microvilli which are blunted, and enzymes that are normally present are not.

This causes a problem with carbohydrate digestion. Grains are very difficult to digest. Not just gluten, but all grains including rice and millet. Squash (also potatoes) is a double sugar. If the food is not completely digested, then it feeds the bad bacteria and yeast. So, I suggest people with digestive problem to avoid these carbs.

But, the reason that it is advisable not to mix carbs and proteins is that they make it much harder to digest. If you dont like or cant go with that idea, then you could try the diet that does 40% meats/fish/eggs, 50% vegetables, and 10% carbs. Try not to go above 100g of carbs a day. I am not saying you should eat them alone, but pick one and have it with lots and lots of vegetables. As to the type of carbs, well, this varies from person to person, so try finding what works for you.
