Nearly 18 months ago, my friend got mono. She was run down before that, bronchitis, etc. She lost both her parents within a year of each other, and doesn’t think she has ever totally recovered my strength. Anyway, the major troubles from mono lasted a year. But, it went on so long I began to get concerned about CFS and she will still have her days, when she gets so weak and tired she can barely stand up, and the occasional brain fog day. Now, when her doctor did the mono test, it was negative. It was only when he did a test specifically for Epstein Barr that she had a positive. She did two weeks ago and said that she almost dies. She still cant get her mind to work and she cant drive for a year. They have put her on dilantin. Over a period of several years, he would get kind of a rash on his penis. It is maybe 3-4 times a year. He was tested for all kinds of causes (herpes, etc) and found no apparent cause and he could find no info about it either. Now, he is wondering if his candida infection was the culprit all along. He also had some rectal pain involved, had tests done for that too (colonoscopy, etc), but found nothing. He spent 3 hours with me, and only charged me two. Like Karen Tripp and others have said, the supplements he gives you are under $200. I think maybe the candida is affecting us and we are taking it out on each other. Personally, I guess it will be nice if you are making friends with some people who share the same disease as you are. I have some, and one of them told me that she went to her infectious disease doctor. The doctor didn’t find any parasitic infection, but he wants her to send him a sample of the little yellow things that she keeps finding in her stool. Read more.. |
